Drag and drop not working for Date Only columns

I have added the PCF to a main grid, where I have allowed editing, so users can easily change the dates - which is a really great feature.

However, I am running into this error when I am using a Date field with 'Date Only' settings:

There seems to be an issue, where I cannot convert the dates.

Has anyone else experienced this - and is there perhaps a workaround? Or does this feature online work for Date/time columns?
