I'd like to modify the layout to make it fit on the standard Japanese (JIS) keyboard layout.
In particular, I would like the key exactly at the left of the space bar (key that does not exist on an ANSI keyboard) act as the special [*] key of Qwerty-Lafayette.
I have no idea where to find the base design, nor if kalamine would work with a JIS layout.
Is it actually possible, on macOS, to force one of the keys on the bottom row to act like our beloved [*] key?
Thanks for any information to get me started.
