On Linux: If network is turned off, this does not detect #32

Possibly a bug with Chrome itself. Same website on phone is working (brave browser).

Strangely, if I use devtools to manually go offline, the event is fired and caught. But if I toggle WiFi to off on my desktop...no event.

Is anyone else seeing this?
