this shell does not exist in my ftp space.

The mPDF library is restructured. So this file is not at that place anymore.
You could add it to the constructor, instead:
https://github.com/splitbrain/dokuwiki-plugin-dw2pdf/blob/master/DokuPDF.class.php#L69

(Of course this file is also overwritten during updates, so changes are not sustainable)
