Spyder 6.0.0b2 - python 3.9.18 compatible? #22208
Comments
Hey @mg3146, thanks for reporting. Yeah, Spyder 6 is compatible with Python 3.8 and above. What's the error you're seeing? |
When I update my conda env with: I get:
|
This seems an issue with the Conda package solver. What do you get if you run this command?
|
that seems to be fine - it gives me the option to Y/N install that. Any suggestions on how I can fix that solver issue...? |
Sorry but from your screenshot is clear that you have a mix of conda, conda-forge and pypi packages in your env, which I'm almost certain is the source of this problem. Perhaps you're not aware of that, but packages from those sources are binary incompatible and can't be mixed successfully in a single environment. So, my advice for you is remove your current env and create a new one using only conda-forge packages. |
Hi, is the latest version of Spyder 6 compatible with python 3.9.18?
I'm running 6.0.0a3 with 3.9.18, but conda is blocking me from updating due to an unsolvable requirement due to 3.9 (it seems).
Thanks
