Using different versions of roop-unleashed

Hi everyone. I'm asking here instead of issues, because I'm guessing it's my lack of unterstanding rather than an issue the developer can solve:

I was running the initial release, which worked fine for me. To not tinker with that (or at least I thought so), I installed v2.0.3 in a new folder (on the same harddrive/partition), but wasn't satisfied with it - video batch processing not working or face enhancer always running, even if it's not activated in neither command line nor GUI for example. So I just wanted to use the initial release again until there's an update and deleted the v.2.0.3 folder.
But when I tried to start the initial release again, it wouldn't start saying that files are missing. I wasn't expecting that, since I installed it in a new folder. But it seems to change/update things in the anaconda-folder too, which was created upon install of the initial release.
How can I prevent this in the future? Do I have to install new versions for testing on a different harddrive/partition, to leave the older version intact?

I had the same issue with the face enhancer running even on the "none" option. It noticed this because the none option takes just as long as the face enhancer option.

I had the same issue with the new version breaking the previous one despite separate install locations. I had to reinstall the CUDA toolkit to get it to see it again. I also reinstalled all the python modules. It works fine now but it would be nice if future releases didn't do that.

Since Installer v2.7.0 it will only install the tagged version.
