Rabbit Miner is a cluster based CPU Cryptocurrency miner written in Java. At the moment, Rabbit Miner only works with the SCrypt algorithm and it is not certain that it will be extended to other algorithms.
The reason we created Rabbit Miner is purely research. CPU mining is slow and cannot compete with modern mining methods, nevertheless Rabbit Miner is an autonomous cross-platform cluster system that can be extended to other areas besides cryptocurrency mining.
Building Rabbit Miner is a straight forward process.
All you need is to clone this GitHub repository and use Apache NetBeans IDE to open the project.
The following YouTube video explains how to create a Litecoin/Dogecoin CPU mining cluster.
Notice: For demonstration purposes we use the same computer as a cluster server and node.
It is higly recommended not to use the server as a node.
