New features in V0.3

  • Majour GUI Rework
    • You first have to connect to a device now before being able to access settings/tools. Only "1" device can be accessed at the moment. If you want to connect do a different device, disconnect first.
  • Ability to toggle PTZ Controls with ALT+P (On-Screen Indicator)
  • Update Notification
    • If your version of CCTV-Companion is out of date, you'll be notified on start-up and asked if you want to update.

Fixes in V0.2.2

  • Using a "," instead of "." during Record Time calculation caused a crash [FIXED]
  • PTZ-Controls still trigger when window is inactive but can now be toggled with ALT+P [Still looking for a better solution]

New features in V0.2.1

  • Splashscreen and Logo added
  • Channel Selection has been added
    • This allows you to select either Optical or Thermal channel on a Thermal Camera -OR- select which channel you want to see on a DVR/XVR/NVR.
    • Tip: If you select channel 5 on a Dahua NVR that only has 4 Channels (e.g. NVR2104-I), it will display all channels as tiles. If you want to do this on a DVR/XVR then select channel 0 instead.

Features in V0.2:

  • typing "webcam" in the IP-Address field will open the first recording device. (if SMD is checked, Object Detection will run on it)

  • typing "imgsrc=" followed by the path to an image will open the image (if SMD is checked, Object Detection will run on it)

  • Object Detection using a pre-trained tensorflow model. This can be toggled ON/OFF.

  • Outputting Serial No., Model Name and Firmware Version of Device

  • Opening a Live View (RTSP Stream) with the ability to control a PTZ Camera (Up, Down, Left, Right, Zoom In/Out, Focus, Wiper On/Off)

  • Copying a usable RTSP-Link to your Clipboard so it can easily be shared or pasted into other programs like VLC.

  • Opening the Web Interface of specified device

  • Rebooting Device

  • Grabbing a Snapshot and displaying it

  • Saving a Diagnostics File (grabs some of the more important settings and infos on the device and saves them in a .txt)

  • Factory Resetting a device and switching all settings to default value

  • Capacity Calculation (Counting # of cameras using specified codec and calculating expected bandwidth.

  • Recording Time (Calculating estimated recording time based on # of cameras, Bit Rate and specified Hard Drive Space in TeraByte.

Bugfixes:

  • Commented out a post.request for use with GroupLotse Webhooks. This was sending messages as a json.dump.
