Group by region is not one of the default fields on the Cloud Optimize tool within Infrastructure. Is there any way to have that added as a standard field? Some context... if a customer has hosts that are currently sitting in US East, but it is more cost effective to move those hosts to US Central, we can offer that option to them in the cost optimizer. @jdiamondyo Group by region is a default field already, it is available in the drop down with all other available grouping options.

The second comment about finding a more cost effective region can be looked at as a new feature, however switching regions within the same country generally doesn't have huge cost savings. But switching between country there can be noticeable changes.

Thank you for your attention to this request. To your point, can we have that feature request initiated? Especially, if there is some tangible savings a customer can achieve by moving country to country or even region by region? I've updated the issue to reflect the feature required.

I don't have any timeline on delivering this at present, will need to think about where and how it should be implemented as the app is currently focused on instance optimization rather then by region.
