Controls triggering via API control

Hi there,

I have a project where I am wanting to manipulate the controls of an interface via the OSC API, and those controls triggering their assigned control methods/actions while bing manipulated.

For example: When moving the position of a slider via the API, the slider will output its assigned control methods.

I believe from reading the "Remote triggering of audio file linked to button" discussion this is will be available for buttons in the 2.2.4 release using /trigger, but I would also like to be able to do the same for sliders. Crossfaders and rotary controls would also be useful.

We're still working on v2.2.4 at the moment however, yes, this version will include the trigger API across all applicable controls (buttons, slider, steppers, etc).

Perfect! Is that likely to be a near future release?

Related to that then, will that also be available to assign custom bindings? and if so would it be possible assign custom min and max values for that binding?

@94Audio Public beta testing for v2.2.4 is scheduled for next week then release should be a few days later.
Yes, custom bindings will be included. We don't currently provide custom ranges for bindings but this is something we can look at for a future release.

Great, Yes custom ranges for bindings would be a great feature if possible. Some of the hardware I'm working with has pre defined output strings and ranges that cannot be changed unfortunately.

@94Audio This feature is now available in v2.2.4.
We will be updating our documentation shortly however, the endpoint for controls via the OSC API is /trigger and the custom input range in available for both /trigger and /position when creating a custom binding.
