Allow showing all keystrokes (not just the special ones) and show them in visual sequence, so we can see several last characters at once (for example pressing 6th character should completly dim 1st character if it's still not dimmed). Additionally we will visually know how much keys has been pressed (when user is repeating the same keypress).

showing all keystrokes is too dangerous: it would show what you type in password fields as well.

I see your point. I record bug-report videos with the help of your application. Sometimes it is necessary to show what keys the user is pressing so that the support will see where the problem is.
Maybe you could set some hotkey to enable/disable this function temporarily?
