(Resolved) Trouble Installing OpenCV for installing from scratch

• I realized that g2o needed to be installed in the directory with the later instructions. I went ahead and installed the other dependencies before making OpenCV.
• I think mentioning that the other libraries need to be installed before OpenCV will help others in the future
• However, I think that -DOPENCV_EXTRA_MODULES_PATH needs to be fixed

I'm trying to install Stella OpenVSLAM from scratch. I want to try getting it to work with ROS1, but I'm having trouble with just about every documented approach. The only thing I got working so far was SocketViewer, but I need ROS for my objectives.

I'm trying to at least install Stella OpenVSLAM from scratch, but I keep getting stuck on building OpenCV.
So, in the instructions for OpenCV https://stella-cv.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html it has the aruco directory deleted
rm -rf opencv_contrib-4.5.5
, but I decided to keep it and have the -DOPENCV_EXTRA_MODULES_PATH point to it.

I think that solved some initial errors, but now I'm getting issues on the CMAKE file with it complaining that it cannot find the g2o CMAKE files. I have no idea where mine could be located or if I need to download some other files. I also installed everything above in the instructions. Any ideas what might be going on here?
